Ok, this may need a little explanation. We are having some problems at work with a protocol we use called Western Blotting (which lets us see which proteins are being expressed in our cells and who they interact with). These problems are now so bad we don't know where the fault lies so are desperate to come up with any fix we can. Hence the pixies. So, last night, in a bid to tempt the pixes out, I made some fairy cakes and renamed them pixie cakes...
Mmmm they look good... I'll let you know if they solve our Western Blotting dilemmas!!!

No sign of the pixies yet. Maybe we upset them by eating the pixie cakes ourselves. Or maybe they just like hiding. Whichever it is, I think we need a new plan to get them to help with our experiments
